The timing of this is incredible. I stepped away from the church roughly 3 months ago having a hard time reconciling what I read in scripture versus what I see happening in the church. I can’t say this answered all or even any of my questions, but somehow it was salve to the chaos I’ve been trying to reconcile in it all.
“We want a place at the table of ideas” GOSH that line hits hard. We must choose a table. The one Jesus sat at and signs us up for persecution. Or the one at the table of ideas, where “yes” is a motto for life.
Excellent read. Too many saints sitting at tables we’ve been called to flip.
