This is so timely! I just listened to the Blurry Creatures episode you are on. I came here to check out your stuff and it just so happens that my husband and I just bought dumb phones! I'm in!
I’m here for it! Had a grand plan to tether my phone at home as if it were a home phone, but have totally blown it on execution. Now’s probably a good time to reimplement 😅. I miss the simpler times of wiffleball and night swim and bike rides. I also miss the freedom of disconnection (when it wasn’t a social faux pas to ignore a text because there were no texts to worry about. I’m from a sleepy farm town myself, and I’d be lying if I didn’t feel it beckoning me back occasionally to my halcyon youth. Oh, and I’d second the camera but say opt for a cheap film camera you can reuse, and if an mp3 player is a stretch get a cheap old alarm clock/radio and listen to that from time to time ☺️.
PS - they’re actually called mourning* doves (pretty sure I also discovered this pretty late in the game 🥲 - “morning dove” makes so much sense when it’s linked to the childhood experience of listening to them as the day began)
Yes! I am here for this. My husband and I were just talking about getting old school flip phones.
Why do I feel like dumb phones might just be a trend again.
Had to get a dumb phone to disconnect. Doing well at the moment, more can be done.
Thank you for sharing.
Where’s your affiliate link for a dumb phone? Seems like a missed opportunity ☺️
Love this!!!
I don’t do that stuff haha

You just got yourself a new subscriber.
Will do a revised version as I don't have the funds to get a dumb phone. 🤣
Nokia prices sure jumped up lol.
