Or How to Roll-Out the Red Carpet for Authoritarianism

I don’t know where I heard it, or where I read it, or how I learned it, but it’s altogether True :

There will always be something, or someone, who sits on the throne of every culture.

That something or someone can be an idea, a philosophy, a goal, some set of principles, even a kind of doctrine of rejection, “we are not ruled by ( insert worldview here )”.
